THE Defence Department has launched an investigation after a memory stick containing classified documents was given to a radio station by a member of the public.The memory stick, containing 20 classified documents about the war in Afghanistan, was given to Sydney radio station 2GB after it was allegedly found on the floor of an aircraft on a Brisbane-to-Sydney flight. Radio host Chris Smith posted pictures on 2GB's website of him handing it to an Army officer.In 2006 a brigadier left a computer disk relating to an inquiry in an airport lounge.
